Goldenbridge House

Goldenbridge House is a red brick mansion built in the early 1700s. It was built for the Smith family of Dunlavin, Co Wicklow. Major Garnet J. Wolsely was recorded as living there in 1837.

In 1855, the house was sold to the Sisters of Mercy, who used it as a reformatory for young women and changed its name. The original house name was subsequently transferred to another newly built house in Goldenbridge.
