Carnaclough House (Loreto College)

What is now Loreto College Crumlin was previously known as Mulberry Place and demesne (1837 OS Map). It was renamed Carnaclough House in the early 19th Century house (1907 OS map). On 23rd April, 1916 the 3rd Battalion of the Irish Army Council and members of Cumann Na mBán under the command of Eamon De Valera stayed overnight at Carnaclough House before departing to Boland’s Mills.
