Lamb’s Jam Factory in Bluebell where Fruitfield jam was made. 

Lamb’s Jam Factory was a family run business operating in Bluebell up until 1970’s. It was acquired by Nestle and later bought by Fruitfield who moved the factory elsewhere. Its landmark chimney (106ft) high was demolished in 1981. Lamb’s Jam Factory was pivotal in changing the socio-economic environment of Drimnagh, Bluebell and Inchicore.
