About Us

Dynamic Drimnagh is a volunteer-led community group dedicated to making our neighbourhood a more vibrant, connected, and sustainable place with inclusion and care at its heart.

What We Do

Dynamic Drimnagh is a network of local groups and individuals playing a leadership role in managing the development and transformation of Drimnagh. Together we advocate for spaces and resources that enrich the lives of people in this community. There are five pillars to our work:

  • Community connection
  • Community-focused development
  • Environmental action & heritage stewardship
  • Health, wellbeing, leisure & culture
  • Lifelong education & learning

Examples of how this works in practice:

  • We work closely with our local Soccer, Rugby, GAA clubs, and Education centers to promote local activities.
  • Through ‘Tidy Drimnagh,’ we organize weekly clean-ups and green initiatives to keep our streets beautiful.
  • We promote our 30+ local businesses to ensure Drimnagh remains a thriving economic hub.
  • This website serves as the central “Town Square” for all Drimnagh news and events.
  • And much more!

Our History

Drimnagh has a rich heritage, from the iconic Drimnagh Castle to our deep-rooted sporting traditions. Dynamic Drimnagh was founded to protect that history while building a modern, inclusive future for all residents.

Get Involved

The more we are, the stronger our voice! We are always looking for new volunteers, whether you have an hour a month or an hour a week to spare.

  • Join a Hub: Reach out to our sports or education partners to get involved.
  • Volunteer: Sign up for the next Tidy Drimnagh meet-up or let us know if there are any particular Dynamic Drimnagh pillars you’re interested in volunteering in.
  • Attend an event: Upcoming events are advertised on the Events page. Come along and meet your community.
  • Organise an initiative: Have a particular interest or skill you’d like to share with the community? Organise an event and let us know so we can promote it.
  • Share news: If you have a community story, share it with us.
